Auguste Moreau is the son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste-Louis-Joseph Moreau [ref. necessary] and the younger brother of the sculptors Hippolyte Moreau and Mathurin Moreau .
Augustus is the only one of his siblings not to have received an official award 2 . He is buried in the municipal cemetery of Lilas .
